Substructure Completes Cocheco River Dredging-Support Surveys

From early October through mid December 2010, Substructure utilized survey vessel Orion to conduct numerous multibeam surveys on the Cocheco River near Dover, New Hampshire, in support of a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers New England District dredging project. Substructure, working as a subcontractor to Green Seal Environmental, conducted before-dredge, after-dredge, and interim partial-payment surveys over the course of this dredging project. Substructure was also responsible for computing dredging quantities, as well as graphic and digital data products to help control and direct the dredging activity. Final surveys were completed in mid December just as major ice was beginning to form on most sections of the river.
