Substructure Participates in International Bridge Conference
Substructure attended the International Bridge Conference 2011 in Pittsburgh, PA in June. At the conference, Thomas Waddington spoke for Substructure to give a presentation on the use of the multi-beam sonar in bridge inspection.
Substructure President Tom Reis and engineer Andy Kelly spent the week performing multi-beam demonstrations on the Orion along the Allegheny River. Demos featured a Dynascan MDL topside laser which helped produce highly accurate composite images when coupled with the multi-beam data.
