Marine Structural Rehabilitation

Many marine structures require comprehensive rehabilitation.  Piers fall into disrepair, bridge abutments and dam faces can become spalled, and pilings can be subjected to impact damage.  The types of damage and deterioration experienced in marine environments are indeed numerous, but all can be ameliorated by appropriate repair techniques and materials.

Marine Construction

Substructure has a wealth of experience in the techniques utilized in marine construction.  Our projects over the years have been as diverse as they are challenging, and we are proud that each and every project has concluded successfully.

Breadth of Experience

During the course of many of these projects, pilings were driven as required, caps and stringers were welded, bolted, or cast into place, and accompanying deck work was performed.

During other projects, hundreds of concrete forms were placed for concrete pumping.  We prepare all reinforcement or rebar exactly to specification and are experienced in all modes of concrete placement.

Some projects have required repairs to sheet pile bulkheads, the fabrication of custom forms, extensive dredging, and the placement of revetment mats.

Whatever the project, Substructure clients have benefited from our breadth of experience and our depth of knowledge.  We are able to bring our talented and motivated personnel to bear on even the most difficult project and consistently achieve superior results, all while doing so safely, efficiently, and with our clients’ bottom line in mind.
